Growth Groups
The study of the Bible is vital for the health of every Christian. Many of our members meet in small groups on a week night in each other’s homes. Normally, groups consist of several members who live close to each other and come together during the week for a time of fellowship, Bible study, prayer and sharing of individual concerns and experiences.
Golden Oldies is the ministry for the senior members of our church. The goal of Golden Oldies is to provide a time of fellowship, friendship, time out and encouragement for one another. Meeting once a month on a Wednesday morning Golden Oldies meetings often include spending time singing old hymns and playing games. Outings include picnics and a once-a-year car rally. Friends are welcome.
Redlands Christian Church facilitates an Op Shop to support New Life Trust which rescues and supports Orphans and Abandoned Children in Myanmar. So far, 620 children have been rescued. 100% of the monies raised from the OP Shop goes directly to the cause. The Op Shop also benefits the local community by selling items at very affordable prices or donates items to those in need. It is run by volunteers from the church and community.
Forge is our high school ministry for grades 7-12! We prioritise sharing the gospel in a fun and relevant way that brings glory to God. Our typical Friday night includes sign-in, announcements, prayer, a Bible talk, small group discussions, and games. Our aim is to disciple the next generation for Christ through faithful teaching, prayer, and fellowship. Every term, we plan something unique like a night out, a combined event with other youth groups, or an in-house activity such as Lego or MasterChef. All high schoolers are invited to join us and be a part of our Forge community.
Redlands Christian Church is a ChildSafe church. Our church is committed to providing a safe, welcoming, and Christ centred environment for all children, young people, and vulnerable people.
